The computing time linearly increases with the cell number N since the limiting operation is the numerical integration of the free-space Green's tensor over the cuboidal cell (instead of an increasing time as [N.sup.3] when the limiting factor is the resolution of the self consistent Dyson's Eq.
When the lining of a hidrocystoma becomes thicker or more complex (beyond the usual attenuated double layer of cuboidal cells), the term cystadenoma is used.
Caption: Figure 3: (a) The tumor consisted of predominantly a large cystic space lined by either papillary projections or a single layer of cuboidal cells and surrounding tumor nests (hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stain, magnification = 2 x).
The cuboidal cells lining the pseudopapillae were strongly positive for glial fibrillary acidic protein [GFAP, [Figure 1]e and vimentin but were negative for neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and neuronal nuclear antigen [NeuN, [Figure 1]f, suggesting glial differentiation.
Caption: FIGURE 2: Cohesive cuboidal cells with minimal amount of cytoplasm, round uniform nuclei with regular contour, finely granular chromatin, no nucleoli, and no mitotic activity (H&E; 200x).
The epithelium also shows a well-defined, palisaded basal layer made of hyperchromatic columnar to cuboidal cells. The luminal surface displays a usually corrugated parakeratotic epithelial layer with frequent presence of a keratinous material within the lumen.
Eccrine hidrocystoma also shows dilatation of sweat glands with solitary or multiple cysts lined by a double layer of cuboidal cells on histology, but dilatation of dermal vessels and perivascular mononuclear infiltrate is not seen [4, 10].
A pathognomonic sign is the presence of large columnar or cuboidal cells in the composition of the epithelial lining showing a decapitation secretion, usually associated with an outer layer of flat myoepithelial cells [9,10].
Proximal tubules showed dark eosinophilic cuboidal cells and prominent brush border.
Two cell types can be found: cuboidal cells and round cells [5].
Secondary follicle (FII) (an oocyte surrounded by more than one layer of cuboidal cells but with antrum andzonapellucida in between).
