U.S. Trade and Development Agency

An agency of the United States government charged with economic development in foreign countries and the promotion of American exports with those countries. It helps other countries develop their infrastructure, which helps improve their sustainability as trading partners. It works with other agencies, notably USAID, in executing its tasks.
