U.S. League of Savings Institutions

U.S. League of Savings Institutions

A former professional association for savings banks in the United States. Its goals were to establish and enforce best practices among members, to lobby policymakers on behalf of the industry and to educate the public about banking issues. It was established in 1892 and merged with the National Council of Community Bankers in 1992.
