Source of funds seller
Customer seller of
stock for the purpose of raising
cash for other
purchases. Such a seller will sell only at advantageous prices, and not
aggressively.
Source of Funds Seller
A person
selling a
security to raise
money for another purpose, usually not related to
investment. For example, a source of funds seller may sell some
shares of
stock to acquire the
funds for an engagement ring. A source of funds seller is not aggressive and usually waits for an advantageous
price before selling.
