Savings Are Vital to Everyone Retirement Act of 1997

Legislation in the United States requiring the Department of Labor to better inform the American public about the necessity of saving for retirement. Among other provisions, it mandated that the president of the United States conduct three programs on retirement: one in 1998, one in 2001 and the last in 2005.
