Packaged loans acquired by policyholders that are secured by the cash surrender value of the policies, and are offered by a broker/dealer as bonds.

Policyholder Loan Bond

A bond that the issuer secures with the receivables on loans made to life insurance policyholders where those loans are, themselves, secured by the cash surrender value of those policies.
