Network B

A service some brokerage firms and cable news channels carry; it reports price and trading volume on the American Stock Exchange and regional exchanges. It also reports on over-the-counter trades for stocks listed on AMEX. It is less commonly called B-network. See also: Network A.

Network B

The reporting service of the consolidated tape that includes price and volume data for round-lot trades on the American Stock Exchange, on regional exchanges, and on the over-the-counter market in AMEX-listed stock. Also called B-network.
