Islamic American Relief Agency
A defunct organization in Missouri that provided health clinics, orphan sponsorship and other charitable services in various parts of the world. It was founded in 1985 and was shut down in 2004 because of alleged ties to terrorist organizations. In 2007, its leaders were charged with sending more than $1 million to Iraq during the
sanctions in place before 2003.
