Inter-American Commercial Arbitration Commission

Also called the IACAC. An international organization that provides out-of-court dispute resolution services for issues affecting trade in the Western Hemisphere. The IACAC consists of representatives from most countries in North and South America; it makes arrangements for arbitration or conciliation when two companies request it. It charges a fee for its services. It was originally established in 1934.
