GNQ

GOST 7.67 Latin three-letter geocode for Equatorial Guinea. The code is used for transactions to and from Equatorial Guinean bank accounts and for international shipping to Equatorial Guinea. As with all GOST 7.67 codes, it is used primarily in Cyrillic alphabets.

Although national experts from the Member States recently meeting in the Council of Ministers' Working Group on Textile Fibres accorded favourable consideration to the two proposals for Regulations submitted by the European Commission on December 13, 1999 on reform of the cotton sector, the delegations primarily concerned as cotton-producing countries (Spain and Greece) set forth the major problems posed for them by the proposed change in the direct aid machinery and in the sanctions machinery in the event that guaranteed national quantities (GNQs) are exceeded (see European Report No 2460).
