Federal Crime Insurance

An insurance policy in the United States providing coverage to a homeowner or business owner against theft or burglary when such coverage is not available or is not affordable. That is, federal crime insurance provides insurance for persons and businesses in high-crime areas. The Federal Insurance Administration manages the program.
