Displaced Moving Average
A
moving average that has been moved forward or backward in time according to a certain formula. The displaced moving average allows
traders to make an educated guess about continued market movements, while removing some of the
noise in simple moving averages. Some believe that displaced moving averages are more accurate for this reason.
