A professional designation for financial managers awarded by the
Institute of Management Accountants. These professionals specialize in the study of how
managers use
accounting and/or financial information in current or future business decisions. Holders of the CFM designation must pass a four-part exam and follow established common practices and ethical standards set by the Institute. See also:
