Boulewarism

Boulewarism

An offer that a company makes directly to its employees, bypassing a labor union. The employees may either accept the offer or go on strike. However, they may not amend it. Because there is no possibility of negotiating with the union for a better deal, boulewarisms are illegal under the National Labor Relations Act of 1935.
