Bonds Enabling Annual Retirement Savings (BEARS)

Holders of BEARS receive the face value of the bonds underlying call option, which is exercised by CUBS (an acronym for Calls Underwritten by Swanbrook). If the calls are exercised by CUBS, BEARS holders receive the total of the exercise price.

Bonds Enabling Annual Retirement Savings. A derivative security, the holders of which are entitled to receive the face value of bonds underlying call options represented in CUBS. That is, when the CUBS holders exercise their call options, BEARS receive the face value.
