Bodily Injury Liability Insurance

Bodily Injury Liability Insurance

An insurance policy that guards the policyholder from legal expenses resulting from a lawsuit over a bodily injury. For example, if Joe is negligent and causes bodily harm to Frank, Joe's bodily injury liability policy would pay for Frank's attorneys' fees as well as the actual and punitive damages Joe otherwise would have paid.
