Board of Trade of City of Chicago vs. Olsen

A 1923 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court holding that Congress has the authority under the Constitution to require all futures contracts on grain to be traded on an exchange. This allowed the Grain Futures Act of 1922 to remain in effect. This decision has formed the basis of subsequent regulation of futures trading of commodities.
