Batting a Thousand
A slang term in business meaning that no mistakes have been made. For example, a salesman is batting a thousand if the recipients of all of his
cold calls for the day agree to purchase his products. The term is derived from the baseball statistic in which 1.000 indicates a perfect batting average.
