Advertising Reserve

Advertising Reserve

An extra amount of money set aside to pay an advertising agency should an unforeseen event occur. For example, if a product proves more popular with younger consumers than older when a company expected the opposite, the company may use the advertising reserve to pay the agency to launch a new ad campaign aimed at youth.
