Abeyance Order

Abeyance Order

1. An order by a court declaring a property or claim in abeyance. That is, the court may issue an abeyance order declaring that the owner or holder of a claim in presently unknown. This is used in bankruptcy proceedings.

2. An order by an advertiser to play a commercial during a time that is not available.
