Year-End Bonus A bonus paid to employees at the end of a calendar year. Year-end bonuses are popular with employees, but bad feelings can result if they received a bonus one year but not the next. However, they are good for morale, especially since they come close to Christmas and other end-of-year holidays. Year-end bonuses may be calculated based on sales, collections, performance or in some other way. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
