The ISO 4217 currency code for the CFA Franc.

XAF
ISO 4217 code for the Central African CFA franc. Introduced in 1945, it was used in five former French colonies and one former Spanish colony in Africa: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo (Republic of), Equitorial Guinea, and Gabon.
