Work and Materials Clause

    0.01 sec.
Work and Materials Clause
A provision in a property insurance contract enabling the property owner to safely store materials used for his/her business on the property secured by the policy. For example, a work and materials clause may enable a homeowner to keep non-perishable inventory for his store in the basement. Without such a clause, the policy may be invalidated because the presence of the material may increase the risk of theft or another insured event.
