Going on HIV disability helped Reid Bruton start a new career--as an opera singer Reid Bruton tested HIV-positive in 1994--and a year or so later went on disability from his job as a supervisor for a Los Angeles law firm's word processing center.
For example, its Word Processing Center was recently brought under the Systems Integration umbrella.
After relocating to California in the 1970's, she joined the law offices of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati (formerly Wilson, Mosher & Martin), located in Palo Alto, where she set up and developed the world's first word processing center.
