Winter Range Form An insurance policy providing coverage to owners of livestock inhabiting states in the Western US between October 1 and May 1. The winter range form protects the owner from loss due to theft, natural disasters and, most importantly, inclement weather. For example, if a portion of a herd of cattle freezes to death during the winter, a winter range form covers the owner for the loss. As with all insurance, one must pay a premium to receive the coverage. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
