Wholesale Bank

Wholesale Bank
A bank that offers services to institutional investors, businesses (especially large businesses), other banks, and investment vehicles such as mutual funds or pensions. Wholesale banks usually conduct transactions worth large amounts of money, and wholesale clients can be prioritized above individual customers. This contrasts with retail banking, which specializes in individual clients.
