Weight of Ice, Snow, or Sleet Insurance An insurance policy providing coverage due to damage from the weight of winter weather. For example, if accumulated snow on one's roof becomes too heavy and the roof collapses, this insurance would pay for repairs. Normally, it does not cover damage to sidewalks, swimming pools and the like. As with all insurance, one must pay a premium for this coverage. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
