War/Strike Clause
(redirected from War-Strike Clause)

    0.01 sec.
War/Strike Clause
A clause in an insurance contract providing coverage for a loss that occurs due to an act of war, a strike (when employees refuse to show up to work) and some other forms of civil strife. Many insurance contracts do not provide coverage for these events, but a war/strike clause reduces the risk of a loss due to war by increasing the number of covered events. See also: Force majeure risk.
