A statement displayed on market tickers indicating that a bidder will pay cash for same-day settlement of a block of a specified security.

Wanted for Cash
A notice or statement on a ticker stating that an investor wishes to buy a security for same-day settlement. That is, a wanted for cash indication means that the investor wishes to pay for and receive delivery of the security on the same day.

A notice on the ticker tape that an investor is interested in purchasing a particular security for immediate delivery and payment, in contrast with a regular transaction in which five business days are permitted for delivery and payment.
