Walt Disney
An American entertainer and businessman. In 1923, he co-founded an animation studio with his brother, Roy. The company expanded to other media, including film, television and theme parks. Disney created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other iconic fictional characters. The Walt Disney Company (as the studio was renamed) became a hugely successful corporation. Disney lived from 1901 to 1966.

Byline: Mike Litherland WALTER Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago Illinois, his father Elias Disney an Irish-Canadian, and his mother Flora Disney of German-American decent, Walt was one of five children, four boys and a girl.
