With Approved Credit

Describing a situation in which a potential borrower must have a sufficient credit rating and/or credit history in order to qualify for a loan. This term is most commonly used when a company provides financing for the sale of its products. For example, a car dealer may finance automobiles to buyer "with approved credit."
