Variable Price Limit

    0.02 sec.
Variable Price Limit
In commodities, price variations above or below the general limits imposed by the exchange at which a commodity may trade. Because commodities can be quite volatile, exchanges impose limits above or below which a commodity's price cannot move in a given period. In times of heavy volume, however, an exchange may institute a temporary, variable price limit to allow commodities greater leeway.
