Upkeep
1. The activities one must conduct in order to maintain a good or property. For example, upkeep on a house may include cleaning, exterminating termites and periodically replacing the roof. Upkeep is sometimes expensive, but generally costs less than the major repairs that result if a good or property is not maintained.
