UDDI

Universal Description, Discovery and Integration. A registry for businesses to list themselves online. UDDI also allows users to access web services. Businesses listed on UDDI are organized by name and contact information, industry or sector, and the specific services offered. UDDI was written in 2000 but was not widely adopted. It was largely abandoned by 2010.
