Ultimate Mortality Table

Ultimate Mortality Table

In actuarial analysis, a table of the likelihood that a policyholder of a certain sex and age will die in the next year, excluding recently issued policies. These policies are excluded because new policyholders are generally healthier than the rest of the sample due to selection bias. An ultimate mortality table provides more accurate information than a regular mortality table of a life insurer's risk.
