ocke 'goat' (UTIL 5: 798) from Old Turkic ecku (Clauson 1972: 24) also combines u-umlaut and vowel lowering.
Additionally, Uyghur has also u-umlaut which has received less attention in turcological literature, probably due to the fact that it is non-productive and affects selected lexical items only.
A few lexical items with u-umlaut have gained a comparatively broad distribution, as otuk 'boot', oruk '*stone fruit' and various forms of *ocku 'goat'.
