24-Hour Trading
The trading of a security or contract on a constant basis. Some computer programs, notably Automated Screen Trading, allow 24-hour trading so buying and selling can continue even after exchanges close. Foreign exchange markets also permit trading 24 hours per day between Monday and Friday. See also: ECN.
