Term Sheet A document indicating a corporation's intent to undertake a merger or acquisition. A term sheet outlines the details of the merger or acquisition, including the purchase price, and whether it will be paid in cash, stock, and/ordebt. It is important to note that a term sheet it not legally binding and may not be enforced. It is similar to a letter of intent, but it is usually less formal. It may also indicate a company's unilateral intentions, rather than what two companies have agreed to say. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
