TSX Venture Exchange

TSX Venture Exchange
A Canadian stock exchange based in Calgary with offices in Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. It was established in 1999 as the Canadian Venture Exchange, and listed securities that were generally too small to be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. It specializes in companies with small capitalization and often high risk. It was purchased by the TSX Group, which owns the Toronto Stock Exchange, in December 2007.
