TA-100 Index

An index of the 100 largest companies (by market capitalization) that trade on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The index is weighted for market capitalization; that is, price changes in stocks with higher market caps will affect the index more than stocks with lower market caps. The index is published every 30 seconds during a trading day by the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The TA-100 was first calculated in 1992.
