Sunshine Trade
A trade involving a large number or volume of securities that is publicized to the market before the order for the trade is formally made. Sunshine trades exist to reduce volatility in the market; that is, if the trade is likely to drive the price for the security up or down, the sunshine trade can help smooth out that transition.
