Subject Market
An exchange or financial market in which quotes given are tentative and subject to confirmation. An example of a subject market is a fast market, in which there is so much volatility and trades occur so rapidly that market orders may be executed at a different price from the price at the time the order was placed. Subject markets can be risky.
