Split Adjusted

Describing what the price of a stock would be had a stock split not taken place. Stock splits often occur when publicly-traded companies wish to reduce their share prices to keep their stocks affordable. One can calculate a stock's split adjusted value by multiplying the current share price by the split ratio. For example, suppose a stock trading at $75 per share has a 3:1 stock split. This would send the share price to $25. If the share price then rises to $45, the split adjusted value is $45 * 3, or $135.
