Special Claim on Residual Equity

    0.04 sec.
Special Claim on Residual Equity (SCORE)
A certificate that entitles the owner to the capital appreciation of an underlying security, but not to the dividend income from the security.

Special Claim on Residual Equity
Also called SCORE. A certificate entitling the holder to some but not all of the benefits in the ownership of a stock. Specifically, a SCORE gives the holder the right to the stock's capital appreciation (that is, if the stock rises in price, the SCORE holder will receive the excess if stockholder sells the share). However, the SCORE holder does not receive the stock's dividends.
