Singapore Exchange Also called SGX. An exchange formed in 1999 through the merger of the Stock Exchange of Singapore and the Singapore International Monetary Exchange. Stocks, bonds, derivatives and other securities all trade on SGX. At its formation, it was the first demutualized exchange in Asia-Pacific on which both securities and derivatives traded.
