Overdue Describing any liability that should have been paid but that for some reason has not. For example, if the electric bill is due on the 15th and one still has not paid it on the 18th, the electric bill is overdue. Persistently allowing liabilities to become overdue may result in late fees and reduced creditworthiness. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
