Shareholder Meeting
Any meeting in which the shareholders of a publicly-traded company discuss and vote on matters pertaining to the company. At a shareholder meeting, the company may present its financial reports. Shareholders also may ask questions of the board of directors. Publicly-traded companies are required to have at least one such meeting each year; management may also call an extraordinary general meeting at its discretion.

TOKYO, July 1, Kyodo Individual and institutional investors were assertive at shareholders' meetings of many companies held late June, raising questions about low stock prices and directors' retirement allowances.
RECENT EVENTS Disputed Corporate Actions: * Resolutions from the April 27, 2010 Shareholders' Meetings: GAP issued three press releases on April 28, 29 and 30, 2010 related to the events of the Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders' Meetings that had been held on April 27, 2010.
Each one of the different series of shares in special shareholders' meetings previously approved amendments of sections Sixth and Twenty Sixth as follows: series "D-A" by unanimous vote of 98.
