In futures trade, a license allowing one to sell managed futures funds. It also authorizes the holder to manage a commodities pool account and raise funds for it, and to engage in certain types of futures trading. To acquire a Series 31 license, one must complete a forty-five question test and already possess a Series 7 license, in addition to already being registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, which administers the test.
