Sell plus order Market or limit order to sell a stated amount of stock provided that the price to be obtained is not lower than the last sale if the last sale was a plus, or zero plus tick, and is not lower than the last sale plus the minimum fractional change in the stock if the last sale was a minimum or zero minimum tick. (In a limit order, sale cannot be lower than the limit, regardless of tick.) Sell Plus Order 1. An order to a broker to sell a security above its current price. 2. An order to a broker to sell a security at its current price only if the current price is higher than the previous plus tick or zero plus tick.
