Sell-side analyst
A financial analyst who works for a brokerage firm and whose recommendations are passed on to the brokerage firm's customers. Also called Wall Street analyst.

Sell-Side Analyst
A securities analyst who works for a brokerage. The observations and recommendations of sell-side analysts are given to brokers, who in turn pass them along to the firm's clients. They are also called Wall Street analysts.
